I Don't Seem to Understand...

Journal Entry: Sun Apr 20, 2008, 1:07 PM
  • Mood: Sadness
Death is something that is natural. In the end, there's only death. So why does it come so early to some?

I found out several hours ago that my friend from the barn was murdured last night by a boyfriend. He then killed himself. He was found first, and when they went to her home to ask for information, she was found dead as well. She was 25 years old. I had known both of them. He was a wonderful guy. She was one of the first people who i became close to at the barn as a young girl.

I don't get it.

In loving memory of a wonderful friend and horsewoman, RIP

I don't understand it either...but it just shows that you should cherish and be thankful for everyday you get to wake up and have :)
Sorry to hear about your friends untimely death

...I am so sorry. I don't know why things happen, and I stop trying to question them. I tend to think there is a reason for everything, but sometimes this opinion just seems to make no sense.
Take much care, and I give you my deepest empathy.

That is just horrible. I don't know why some people do the things they do, it's just a sad fact that the world is sometimes a really ugly place.
Even though the words won't do much, I'm so sorry for your loss. :(

Don't forget who's taking you home, and in whose arms you're gonna be,
So darling, save the last dance for me. ♫

thanks... there really is no sense in questioning at this point. The entire situation had been all over the news for the better half of the day before I knew that it was my friend that they were talking about. And it's strange.... this girl was the first person i Met at our barn almost exactly nine years ago.

ok, since i've already written you a letter, thanks again... it'll blow over soon. But death should never come so early.

Wow I'm sure sorry to hear of this. I don't know why people choose various paths in their lives. I do know however, that we were created to help each other instead of vice-versa.

I'm afraid that I can't say anything spectacular or out of the ordinary amongst the many "I'm so sorry"'s, because I know at this point it'd just be too trite.

I suppose the most I can do is offer my deepest sympathies, and offer an ear if you need to talk (or eyes in this case). I'm of the belief that things happen for a reason, but I can't see a reason for this either.

Again, I'm very sorry, even if at this point, the words seem to have lost meaning.

And the wind I know it's cold
I've been waiting
For the day I will surely die
And it's here
And it's here for I've been told
That I'll die before I'm old
And the wind I know it's cold..."<
